About Gary Yeung

 

Originally from Hong Kong and now based in Wales, Gary is a figurative artist passionate about capturing urban scenes and natural landscapes in a variety of mediums, both in his studio and outdoors. He is one of the co-founders of Urban Sketchers Hong Kong, the Hong Kong chapter of the global Urban Sketchers network.  

 

Since 2021, Gary has exhibited his work at various art venues across South Wales, including Barnabas Arts House (Newport), Gallery 57 (Newport), Cowbridge Art Society (Cowbridge), Cardiff M.A.D.E, Pontypool Museum, and The Riverfront Theatre (Newport).  

 

Alongside his own artistic practice, Gary is an art teacher and franchise partner at Colourwheel Cardiff. He teaches regular art classes for adults and also leads workshops and demonstrations at various venues across South Wales. Gary 原籍香港，現居於威爾斯，Gary專注於以多種媒介創作，題材涵蓋城市風貌及自然景觀，無論於工作室內或戶外皆積極投入藝術實踐。他亦為 Urban Sketchers Hong Kong 的共同創辦人，該組織為全球 Urban Sketchers 網絡之香港分會。
