About Gary Yeung

 

Originally from Hong Kong now based in Wales, Gary is a figurative artist passionate about making art, mostly urban, rural and natural landscapes in a variety of mediums both in his studio and in the outdoors.  ​He is one of the co-founders of ‘Urban Sketchers Hong Kong’, the Hong Kong chapter of the worldwide urban sketchers network.

​

Since 2021, Gary has exhibited his works at different art venues in South Wales including Barnabas Arts House, Newport, Gallery 57, Newport, Cowbridge Art Society, Cowbridge, Cardiffmade, Cardiff, Torfaen Museum, Pontypool and Riverfront Theatre, Newport.  

​

Besides working as an artist, Gary is currently teaching regular adult art classes in Cardiff and he also hosts workshops and demonstrations regularly at different locations across South Wales.
